Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. First Thus. First Pocket Books Printing, November 1939. The tanned pages are in good condition with a very few small scattered soil spots. There is a name label on the inside front cover. The book is rated fair because the laminate is peeling off from the cover. The cover has some small corner creases and light edge wear along with some light soiling on the back. The spine is not creased, but it does have some light end wear. Vintage paperback with an original cover price of 25 cents. 306 pages.

Dust Jacket in worn shape with small chips missing from right upper corner, top front next to spine, lower right hand front corner and top and bottom of spine, with edge wear all around. Previous owner's name on first free page with date 'Feb. 8 '40." Pages are yellowing but text is unmarked and intact. Binding is a little mushy, but also completely intact. Book.

Chips to the corners. The front panel has a 1 1/2" long chip at its upper edge. Th e rear panel is dust soiled. It has a 1 1/4" and a 1 1/2" chip at its upper edge.
